Welcome from Our Director

Portrait of K. Kellie LeitchHello, and welcome!

There is an exciting opportunity awaiting you at Children's of Mississippi.

We have an enormous volume of cases and an outstanding team of people for you to work with during your fellowship.

We have a new hospital with new operating rooms, new equipment, and a great atmosphere.

Amongst the four faculty members, we will provide you the full breadth and depth of pediatric orthopaedics opportunities.

  • Dr. Luke Drake, recent fellowship graduate from the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles, has a practice focused on spine and hip reconstruction.

  • Dr. Hamdi Sukkarieh is fellowship trained in spine reconstruction.

  • Dr. Patrick Wright completed his fellowship in Orlando. His practice is primarily focused on children with neuromuscular diseases and hip reconstruction.

  • I was fellowship trained at the Children's Hospital Los Angeles and the Paley institute. My practice is deformity correction and trauma.

Our practice has a large volume of complex elective and trauma cases.

Our goal is to provide you an opportunity to become an independent pediatric orthopaedic surgeon by the end of your fellowship who is prepared to complete complex cases.

We look forward to working with you and introducing you to some southern hospitality.

Cheers!

Kellie
